Binjie Li Awarded 2026 Research Progress Award by Northwestern University's Department of Biomedical Engineering

As part of the 2026 BME Department annual awards, PhD Candidate Binjie Li was awarded a Research Progress Award for the Biomaterials & Regenerative Engineering Track.

This award is given annually to students who have achieved excellent research progress over the past year. His accomplishments this past year include :

  • A first-author publication in Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology (2026);

  • Submitted and awarded AHA Fellowship;

  • Co-author paper under review at Circulation
